Welcome to The Adventures of Patch the Teddy Bear. These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases and pre-orders made through theadventuresofpatch.ie.
By placing an order through our website, you agree to the terms below. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under Irish or EU consumer law.
1. Products
We aim to describe and display all products as accurately as possible. Please note that colours and appearance may vary slightly depending on your screen or device.
Product availability may change, and we reserve the right to update product information, pricing and availability where necessary.
2. Prices & Payment
All prices are displayed in Euro (€).
The price shown at the time you place your order is the price you will be charged, together with any applicable delivery costs shown during checkout.
Online payments are processed securely through our payment provider Stripe. We do not directly store your full card details.
An order is considered received once your order has been successfully submitted and you receive an order confirmation.
3. Pre-Orders
Products clearly marked PRE-ORDER are being purchased before their general availability or dispatch date.
Payment for pre-orders is taken at the time the order is placed, unless otherwise stated.
For The Adventures of Patch the Teddy Bear, pre-ordered copies are expected to become available from 22 August 2026.
We will make every reasonable effort to have pre-orders available on or around the stated date. Occasionally circumstances outside our control may cause a delay. If there is a significant delay affecting your order, we will contact you using the details supplied at checkout.
4. Collection at the Book Launch
Customers may choose the available free pick-up option at checkout to collect their pre-ordered book at the official launch of The Adventures of Patch the Teddy Bear at:
The Harps, Skerries, Co. Dublin
Saturday, 22 August 2026
There is no delivery charge for this option.
Please bring your order confirmation, either printed or displayed on your phone, where possible.
If you have selected collection but are subsequently unable to attend the launch, please contact us so alternative collection or delivery arrangements can be discussed. Additional postage charges may apply if you subsequently request delivery.
5. Delivery
Where delivery is selected, the applicable delivery charge will be displayed during checkout before payment is completed.
Orders will be sent to the delivery address provided at checkout. Please ensure your address and contact information are correct before submitting your order.
For pre-orders, dispatch will take place once the product becomes available.
Delivery times after dispatch are estimates and may be affected by postal or courier delays outside our control.
6. Cancellations, Returns & Refunds
Your purchases are protected by applicable Irish and EU consumer law.
For most online purchases, consumers have a legal right to cancel within the applicable cooling-off period, subject to certain exceptions.
If you wish to cancel a pre-order before it has been dispatched or collected, please contact us as soon as possible.
If an item arrives damaged, faulty or is not as described, please contact us and we will work with you to resolve the issue in accordance with your statutory consumer rights.
Any applicable refund will normally be returned using the original payment method.
7. Incorrect Information
Customers are responsible for providing accurate contact, delivery and order information.
If you notice an error after placing an order, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to correct it before the order is processed or dispatched.
8. Availability
All products are subject to availability.
In the unlikely event that we cannot fulfil an order or pre-order, we will contact you and, where appropriate, provide a refund for the affected item.
9. Intellectual Property
The content of this website, including original text, branding, illustrations, characters, artwork and other creative material relating to The Adventures of Patch the Teddy Bear, is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Content may not be reproduced, distributed or used commercially without the permission of the relevant rights holder.
10. Privacy
Personal information provided when placing an order will be used to process and fulfil your purchase and for other purposes explained in our Privacy Policy.
We will not use your details for unrelated marketing communications unless you have provided the appropriate consent.
